Took the boat up Rondout Creek which runs through Kingston, NY and empties into the Hudson River. A lot of boat activity in the creek as well as Feeney's Shipyard, where most of these shots were taken. The shipyard overhauls and repairs tugs and barges and builds new barges like the one in these shots.

Great set LFingar. Is ASC 257 an open hopper dry cargo barge? Can't see any covers on pumping equipment on the barge.

Liquid bulk. This is one of at least 2 sets of pumps onboard. A Detroit Diesel. Best engine in the world for turning diesel fuel into noise!
