Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, Spain
In 2016, having been unsuccessful (so far) in convincing one of my choral groups to visit Spain, I toured Spain by myself with a group of strangers. One of the locations toured was the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey near Barcelona, Spain. The Abbey is one of the most important religious sites in Spain, and its location affords one of the most spectacular views of Catalonia.

Wow, nice shots!
Thank you very much. I do make an effort to get useful pictures, but on tour time is always a factor.
A beautiful place nicely photographed.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures.
Another excellent set, David! Of course the pano is notable, but the exterior of the building was interesting and your interior shots were top notch.
kpmac and fjdarling, thanks so much for viewing and your nice comments.
Mike, I always enjoy your visits.
Been there, David. The Abbey is beautiful (as are your shots of it). But the views from the top really blew me away.

David....again I repeat that the Spanish cathedrals are the finest in the world at least for me. You have sparked an interest in me to one-day attempt a visit for myself to see them up close and in real life.
