In my previous post I included flowers (and a couple of butterflies) from a hike to Donner Peak and Mount Judah. This post has some shots of the area along the hike. The hike ranges in elevation from ~7000 to 8200+ feet and is called the Mount Judah loop trail. It was a bit hazy on the day of the hike as can been seen in the view of Donner lake below, but still nice views. All comments, suggestions and questions are welcome.

Good photos - fantastic scenery
Some hike! What can I say, flower shots are starting to bore me in the COVID age. These are much more my speed. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice shots of a great area. Last weekend we kept on that route, went on the Pacific Crest Trail from Donner to Squaw Valley. Great views, some beautiful flowers, sore feet now.

Hi Delderby
Thanks for checking out the photos. The scenery in the Donner lake area is quite nice, Normally it is a bit clearer but there was some lingering smoke in the air from wild fires.
