Need some advice

I am getting ready to order several canvas prints to hang for a customer of mine. I have taken the photos and I am getting ready to place an order for the prints and I need some advice as to what the best way to hang them on sheetrock would be. Most of the prints will be twelve 20 by 30 inche prints, one 24 by 36 inches and a triptych with three 20 by 36 inch panels. What would be your recommendations for the prints and the wall hangers. Thanks for your help. I have sold many to this customer before but have never hung any myself.

Would command strips be an option?

I know them as z bars. I recommend them for the triptych. For the singles hooks work fine with the back wired. Use two hooks so they hang and stay straight

For the triptych it can be agonizing. I've seen alignment kits with templates at the frame shop but have always just used a level and measured a million times. Tiny adjustments can be made with layers of masking tape on one or both sides of the mount to adjust the height or angle. You could also mark it out precisely on a sheet of kitchen parchment or kraft paper, then use blue painters tape to mount the paper on the wall and Mark the screw or nail holes with hammer and small nail. Either way it looks bad if you mess up, and it is not easy to fix.

Also called a French Cleat. Just space them properly and level them carefully. I have hung big Japanese screens this way as well as art work. There is a possibility for some micro adjustments if you don't get them right. If they aren't spaced really closely to one another you can get by with imperfect. Just make sure you all stand around holding them up to look at. Better to do that for a half hour than decide they are a little to high or low afterwords.

Canvas prints are not heavy (and mine come with all the hanging hardware, and the wire is already attached), I just use a regular picture hanger. If I ever take the print down, just a little caulk and your finished. I always get tabs for the bottom two corners so the canvas will not shift when hung.
In fact, the following one might be just a little over the top.

I have used command strips with success in the short term but have had them release over time allowing the pictures to fall. Can’t recommend them.

Have you actually used these yourself? They look great, but would like to hear from someone who has used them. Thank you.

No. I haven't used them. They look good, though.

Every method will have it's challenges and needs to be thought through. For metal cleats you have to make sure the distance from the cleat to the top of the picture is the same on all, or if not carefully measure and apply an 'offset' to each individual one. Just make sure you plus or minus the offset correctly, i mix this up for some reason. The one in the video fixes that with the index pin. Picture wire seems fraught with problems, but i imagine you could find the distance from the apex to the top of the picture and offset from there.

I've never liked command strips. My walls were never sufficiently flush to get good contact. I hung a 30x40 canvas print with a single sawtooth hanger nailed to the wood frame. Get out a tape measure. PRECISELY measure the center point of the canvas. Align the center point of the sawtooth bracket and nail it in the frame. To hang multiple pics together, decide whether your floor or ceiling is more level. Never been lucky there.... Now, lay the three canvases on a table to get the horizontal spacing the way you want it. PRECISELY measure the center to center distances between the three pics. Locate the spot on the wall where you want the CENTER pic and measure up or down from the floor or ceiling to get your preferred height and put a reasonable sized nail in the wall slanted up for the center pic. Measure across to the centers of the others, drive the nails and you should have them located where you want them - for good.
