I understand your reluctance with a tilt shift. Even though it’s not as cumbersome or heavy as some think. They are rentable for a few days or even a week. But if I’m in your neck of the woods, I can let you borrow mine. The mechanism is very interesting none the less.
When using a Monochrome, be sure to use gray cards. They can make a shadowed area have depth.

No harm, no foul, Scruples...I do appreciate your input and suggestions so please keep them coming. It is just that being as old as I am, I'm kinda set in my ways and just march to that music.

Judging by what is said, I think I’m older. If not we can always trade our Monopods for canes. Oh darn! Where did I leave that contraption again? LOL!

I'm from Iowa. We have a similar ole place near me. I once used it to take my grandson
