Can't get Godox 32" softbox on to S-Bracket

I've tried for long time to get my Godox softbox onto my S-Bracket. The hole in the back just seems to too small. There are several videos on the softbox or bracket where they just "slip it on". But I can't get it on. I even tried sliding the whole bracket into the softbox and pulling it thru, but can't get the hole opening over the speedlight tightening screw top.

Anyone else have this problem or have any solutions?

Looked at Godox website and can't find anyone to call. Got the softbox on Amazon so Mr Amazon will be no help.

I'll try calling B&H and maybe bring to my local photo store, but maybe some of you have had same issue and have a solution.

Thanks

Hi jayluber. I'm not sure if you have the same Godox soft box that I have, which is the foldable one that untwists and springs open into its box configuration when taken out of its bag. This particular box has the metal band framing which gives rigidity to the 4 lips that hold the box onto the S-bracket. To get the S-bracket into place underneath those lips, you tilt the S-bracket and guide the edge of the bracket into place underneath first just one lip and then going around and sequentially tucking it under each lip until all
4 lips are fully covering the round edge of the S-bracket. You can't push or pull the bracket into place over or under the 4 lips of the box all at once, because as you described, the box's opening is smaller than the diameter of the S-bracket.

I'm an IDIOT. I was trying to get the brace inside the opening on the nylon fabric - but you showed me it was the frame that clips to the box. Thank you. Guess I had a Senior DAY.
THanks again sscnxy

You're welcome, Jay. I think you'll like how the box softens your strobe/speedlight so nicely. These Godox's are inexpensive but do a fine job and, if handled properly, should last. Their construction is pretty good for what they cost. So go ahead and enjoy!
