Trucking Company Owner: Cities That Defund Police Are in for a Big Surprise

Cities that decide to cut their police funding could be cutting their own supply lines, too.

That was the message a trucking executive carried to “Fox & Friends First” on Wednesday, and it’s something urban politicians — in the thrall of Black L***s M****r r****rs and a****a anarchists — should be seriously considering unless they think citizens can start growing their own food.

Because if it’s not safe for truckers to carry goods — they just might not do it. And trucking companies won’t be willing to risk the business.

“Our first priority is to support our drivers and their safety when they’re on the road,” Mike Kucharski, co-owner of Summit, Illinois-based JKC Trucking, told the Fox program.

“Defunding the police is a bad idea because when you’re on the road, you have — you’re for weeks and days at a time, driving 11 hours with valuable cargo, everybody wants to steal this.”

On the road, Kucharski said, “There’s no safe place. Violence is everywhere. So, if you’re going to be having valuable cargo and there’s going to be no police to rely on, who’s going to protect our drivers?

“The states that are going to defund the police, we’re not going to go to because we’re trying to avoid those states for safety reasons.”

It’s a message Kucharski has been trying to spread far and wide.

“These drivers have the right to refuse a load because they are worried about their own safety,” Kucharski told conservative, Wisconsin-based radio host Vicki McKenna in a June 30 interview, according to a JKC Trucking news release.

“If these drivers all refuse to go into these areas, the food supply chain collapses. There’s going to be no more essential goods. The people in these states are going to run out of food. Then there’s going to be complete chaos. I’d say 72 hours and that’s it. The party’s over.”

And it isn’t just the hot spots like Minneapolis, where the self-important city council has already v**ed to begin the process of dismantling the police department. Or New York, where l*****t Mayor Bill de Blasio and a l*****t city council are apparently more interested in painting the words “Black L***s M****r” on the street than protecting actual black lives with adequate police officers.

On Sunday, the New York Post reported the city has seen 777 shooting incidents this year — one more than in all of 2019. The incidents resulted in 942 k**led or wounded victims, the Post reported.

USA Today reported Friday that police departments across the country are having funding slashed as a result of the “defund the police” movement and the toll the c****av***s crisis has taken on local government budgets.

I can understand criminals wanting the police departments defunded but I can't understand any sane law abiding citizen wanting it. Anyone care to explain the reasoning behind it? I seriously would like to hear the arguments for defunding and how it could possibly improve our society. I, like the truck drivers, would not go into any major city in this country that did not have a police department.

The company I currently work for has a very large facility in one of the cities where they have had "peaceful" r**ting going on, and where they are looking to defund the police. I can tell you for fact that the company has recently put together a big team of engineers, managers, lawyers, and accountants to begin assessing other locations to move the production and support that facility provides. There are over 1000 employees at that facility.

It will improve the lives of some black males, it will keep them out of jail: by defunding police, black males who shoot other black males dead (for actual example: spilling beer on their new sneakers), those b****s will not even be arrested.

It would be interesting if just one city, a small one to start with, would go full bore in defunding the police as a sort of "trial run" to see how things play out. Seems so many are all for the idea, why just wade into it? Why not jump in head first? No doubt it's the wise thing to do so lets speed up the process!

I believe it is driven by the drug cartels.

How many companies are going to move to such cities?

How many people will want to move to such cities?

Less business equals less jobs causes more crime and public assistance. Also loss of tax revenue leading to a downward spiral.

Soon Portland will be a third world city. Just what the drug cartels want.

Whole bunch of what-ifs listed. If police refuse to do their job, easy “fire them”. Since the thing that initiated this recent unrest was when police were not doing their job and k*****g an unarmed person in the street. Who is really to blame, the LEOs who could not just do their job.
“ If these truckers all refuse to go into these areas”, another what if. If the truckers do not do there job, fire them.
None of these what-ifs will happen because the police, trucking companies and drivers like money. They will do almost anything for money.

I hope all the major trucking companies follow this sensible lead.

How about another. How about all doctors who violate their Hippocratic Oath, you know, like k*****g otherwise healthy people, they lose their job also and maybe even go to prison. That would be an even better one.

I've thought about something along that line. Psycopath health care workers have purposely k**led innocent people for the thrill of it. Do we burn down hospitals and all health care facilities for the crimes of a few? Judging police departments all across the country on the actions of a few rogue cops is totally insane. Must be criminals or wannabe criminals behind this whole agenda.

Doing harm. What harm is greater than a physician k*****g a healthy human being? In complete violation of their oath.

You really do have to learn how to comprehend what someone writes. It was an executive of a trucking company who said they will not send their trucks to the cities with no law enforcement. Also other trucking companies will follow suite causing a big interruption in the supply chain for those areas where police are not present. Who is going to protect your family from a sexual d*****t who likes men and women and little boys and girls. Don't forget they have taken away your gun collection so you can only shoot them with your finger and thumb and say bang bang. Even that is considered a weapon so they just might cut your thumb and finger off and take your voice away so you can't harm your assailant and protect yourself.
