Bird added - you probably figured that out

Skies: for #1 it's just amping the saturation, for #2 a hard mix blend mode with an added sky, a new natural sky for #3.

Feedback welcomed!

Excellent simplicity and subdued color. A pleasure to view.

I like the soft colors in 1 and the added bird.

I like #1. Neither two nor three have a sky that fits with a simple silhouette. They are both very nice and might really be great with different foregrounds. That's just my uneducated opinion.

I'm delighted you found them interesting, Larry. I really liked the shapes. Note in #2 I've painstakingly () removed the ridge line and revealed more of the bottom leaves. I had few options because of the lens I had with me, and the location.

Thanks Karin! That bird is a favorite of mine, came in a set of free brushes from brusheezy.com

I very much appreciate your observations and feedback, Guy. I often don't stick to my original vision, assuming I even had one

No. 1 feels like early morning, just before sunrise. No. 3 feels like dusk and I see the bird has gone to roost somewhere. I love those two! They are simple and yet create mood.

That's really neat about the feeling of dusk. Thanks so much for your time and interest, Carol!

Very nice work, as always, Linda.

I think the first version is the most natural, and my favorite. Perfect work on the bird!

All are great examples of PP used with respect for the original image.
