I do understand he was a very talented musician and guitarist. However, while he may have appreciated jazz and even played with a few jazz musicians, he was not a jazz guitarist. His name will not appear on any list comprised of jazz guitarists. If you disagree, use any search engine and please post the list. I am not demeaning him, jazz was just not his forte.

How can you top Kessel, Byrd and Ellis?? I guess by having Pass play "Laura"... Did you know Barney backed up Julie London on one of her sultry albums (Julie Is My Name). I still have it and play it often. Well, I guess I should have said I'll again play it often when I get my Dennon amp back from the repair shop. As always I love your choices, Mark.
