while back, somebody had mentioned a colorization program called "Codijy'. Well, I went in search of it, and it does a great job. You have to play around with it, nothing automatic, well documented and support is great! So, I thought I would post a few examples of what is possible. Let me know what you think of my efforts. The one family is of me and my family taken in the late 60s and scanned. The watch repairman is a composite put together on Photoshop. In my original postings, I have tried to give the original photographer credit when possible. The only photo that is mine in its entirety is Dr. Dog. I shot it in Cripple Creek, Colorado in the mid to late '80s. Enjoy and comments are always welcome, providing I can get them uploaded. As a side comment, this is not something for a "type A personality"!!

Very nice! I might have to invest in that app.

very good execution of converting B&W to color. My hat is off to you.
Nice work. I've done it with oil paints and with Photoshop.
Interesting. One of my hobbies in the early 60's was hand tinting with pencils. Think I still have some.
I must say I prefer the black and whites but you did do excellent work.
Just my opinions.
Possible room for improvements
1. Candlelight is a mix of colors mostly yellow and cast a yellow light not white. Eyes adjust to color, film do not.
2. Almost perfect. The window sill & fabric in the window seems to be left black & white.
3. Almost perfect. A tad saturated, specially the blue window.
4. This one looks like the old hand colored postcards. The colors in shadows do not look natural.
5. Does not look natural because the photo is sharper & has more contrast than the camera. They should have the same IQ. Coloring, no issues at all.
Very interesting - excellent use of your new program.

Wow.....very cool indeed. I love the final set....a Winner in my book any day! Thank you.
Nice work. I colorized a photo of my grandfather. It required a lot of masks and color selections all done manually. This app looks like it works well for anyone doing this sort of thing frequently.

Nice colorization of BW photos. Looking into this CODIJY program. On the ordering page, it has a checkbox for "I have a coupon code." Has anyone who ordered this used a coupon code? and where to find such a coupon code?

Those are absolutely fantastic. Like other's, I've already looked up the software and may try the trial, if for nothing else, to learn something new. You have to love this forum, always sharing and learning...
Very neat work. I haven't been to Vale Or since 1976 when I lived there and I remember rodeo's and never saw bikers.
