Day 268 Daily Photo Challenge 09-24-2012 Composing using foreground detail

I often like to have something in the foreground that enhances the image....its kinda like framing but not always because the foreground sort of ADDS to the image ...here are some examples.

the first is from Saturday at the beach...Beach grass is a good one and works well if you can catch it at sunset...
from front to back the image is mostly sharp.

Fences work well for this kind of composing....

flowers do too

I dont have an example right now, but often people are used in the foreground of a scenic to show depth or size....
Maybe someone will have a good example as the day goes on.

Hopefully my internet is up long enough to post a few photos. I am doing a Photo Shoot for my apartment complex. I wanted to add a little somehting to the picture, so I used plants, a fountain and flowers to make the place more atractive. I hope these post.

In Texas we found a cool place that makes monuments and yard art...it was really neat...seemed like acres of things...I took some pics that I liked ....and here's a few others too...Dont know if these fit the bill for foreground though....
