Had a good time at Yellowstone. One of these big guys decided my car was in the wrong place and charged at it (I was inside). He stopped just short and made a couple lunges twisting his antlers back and forth and stopping just short of my radiator. I was fully intimidated and backed up and relocated. The ranger told me that bull has mauled 36 cars in the last few days.

What beautiful shots! We were there a month ago, but the fall colors had yet to show.
Actually, the summer colors weren't showing so well, either -- it was very dry.

Love the series and the story behind it. I would like to be there with a camera to get the expression in the insurance adjusters face when those 36 people tell how their cars got damaged. "A WHAT ran into your car?"

Thought so. Third year he has been doing that. He broke an antler off in a Ford truck radiator last September.
