DJphoto Loc: SF Bay Area

This is the second set of our journey Into the Midnight Sun; the first set was posted at https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-658415-1.html These photos were taken from the Viking Star as the sun set on Bergen and the harbor. Because Bergen is quite far north, the days are very long in the summer; these photos were taken between 10:59 PM and 11:29 PM on July 1, 2018. Photos 8 and 9 were taken 19 minutes apart. The next set (Bergen Day 2) will be a tour around Bergen.

Thank you Mark. I would like to visit Iceland some day. Bergen is only a little less than 4 degrees south of Reykjavik, so maybe that has something to do with it.

WOW was our response to Norway. Iceland on the list and hopefully we will make it. There are so many places to go; I hope we are able to get to all of the ones on our list. Our current priorities (after our Mediterranean and Rhine cruises in 2022) are a drive around New Zealand, Surfers Paradise and Sydney Australia, at least one land trip to Italy, another trip to Norway and a cruise from Buenos Aires to Santiago. We will likely get to Iceland on a Viking cruise that is 13 days long and goes from Bergen to Reykjavik. We also go to Hawaii at least every other year and Oregon every year.
