Alternatives to Zoom for photo presentations

Hello,

If a group wants to have a virtual photo presentation and does not want to use Zoom what is a good alternative?

It would need to be simple to set up and participate in.

The group would primarily be seniors.

Thank you

Our family tried Google Meet. However it apparently uses more bandwidth than Zoom, and some participants froze, their video or audio briefly dropped out, so we returned to using Zoom which has been more reliable.

Team Viewer in presentation mode. Works perfectly, the participants don't have to sign up for anything, they just click on a link to join a Teamviewer meeting, and the link temporarily installs a small kernel of software to enable participation in the meeting, which is deleted after the session.

What doesn't zoom do for you? We use use it for photo club critiques during this pandemic. Not quite the same as print but just fine.

I would also like to know how Zoom works. What equipment etc. is needed.

Zoom is actually quite easy. If this old and technologically challenged person can do it, you can as well. Download the app to your computer & follow the instructions.
