A friend of mine jokingly renamed these birds as seen in the subject a couple of years ago so I use this name a lot for laughs. This is the second year in a row that they have nested in the same location.

Great captures and well done. Remember seeing this species quite a bit when I was a kid but haven't seen any in years.

Those are remarkable photos of the scissortail flycatcher.
