Fortunately I was unable to make plans to return to LJ this summer. Fortunately because I don't have to deal with the disappointment of not being able to go. At this point a trip to VT is going to seem exotic after being on the BC campus for the past four months or so.
Photo taken Ash Wednesday in 2016 using an Olympus E-30 and the Zuiko 12-60. The 12-60 focal length is perfect for wandering around old European cities. It was a great lens. Now using EM1 mk ii. Used the 12-60 on it using an adapter but, to make a very long story short, having given the camera and all but one DSLR lens to a Jesuit who needed decent equipment for his work, it is now in Nigeria somewhere.
Beautiful monochrome shot.

Thanks. It was a very clear and comfortable February night.
Now that is a nice B&W image. Great job.

Beautiful shot, it makes me want to walk right in! I had the pleasure of spending a couple days in Slovenia years ago. The people were kindness itself!

Thanks for commenting. You are right about the Slovenians. Had I not been asked by a very close friend to take a specific job here I would have returned for a much longer time. The entire country is a photographer's dream. And it is safe. I went out alone with the camera around midnight in both LJ and Maribor. The only other place on earth I will do something like that is Taipei. Will post more of LJ later.
