If anyone has suggestions on how to view 500+ slides that are in circular Airequipt magazines, for which I have no projector, I would love to have them. I have many old family photos stored this way and would really like to sort through them in the most expedient way I can. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks so much.

There are a lot of slide & negative viewers on Amazon where you remove them from the magazine and insert them one at a time. Most have small screens but there are several options to choose from.

Ebay has a slew of them for sale and reasonable shipping.

I have a tray with several layers that has a light bulb inside. It is called "Focal Super Slide Editor" You might find one on eBay or check antique stores. You might be able to purchase a projector that will take your slide trays. They would most likely be pretty cheap. If you are in a big town try garage sales.

Gosh! You reminded me I used to have a gadget like that. Unfortunately, it was made of some kind of plastic that didn't age well and I ended up having to toss it. I'll check around for something similar. I have three different gadgets for viewing them one at a time, as well as a modern one that is hooked up to my computer into which I can load a few at a time. However, looking at 80 at a time seems a much more attractive prospect. Thanks so much.

Got a Nikon D850? Rent the Slide & Negative copying adapter and scan them all. Or rent a D850 and the ES2 setup and scan them all.

Wow, an Airequipt projector! That brings back a bunch of memories from my previous life when I had hair. Just a side note, not sure if it was with all their projectors but if it fails to advance the slide IIRC there is a rubber belt inside that worked that mechanism. A small rubber band will fix the problem. Other than that the projector was a tank. If ya had a flat you could almost chock a tire with it and pound the lug nuts off with a Nikon F with no damage to either. (Kidding about the Nikon.. if ya did that you know all your images would be out of focus)

159 "hits" for Airequipt slide projector on eBay.

Hopefully what you need will be in there somewhere.

Think about getting a scanner with slide scanning capability and digitize them. You’ll be glad you did.
