Friday's sunset on Cowenesque lake in Pennsylvania

Went for a drive Friday night to our neighbor to the South, Lawrenceville PA and drove by Cowenesque Lake which is a man made lake and was able to catch a pretty good sunset with some cool clouds enjoy and stay safe and well

Beautiful shots! I'm from a town on the bottom border of central PA and had never heard of that lake even though my DW is from the area above Williamsport. We used to spend more time up there when her parents were living, but not so much any more. She says she thinks it's pronounced Cowen-ess-key, not Cowan-esk? Is that correct? Funny thing is that one of our stomping grounds in this area is Cowan's Gap Lake. It's a much smaller mountain lake and park which is often good for water fowl and raptor sightings.

Thank you niteman3d, not sure of the real pronunciation I guess it all depends on where your from, hope you get up this way and see it
