Just a experiment at water reflection. Also I'm working on getting acclimated to using the RAW shorting method and making the adjustments on a new and unfamiliar edit program.

...if not for the water ripples they could be floating in the sky...?

I like the image but disagree with the comments about the water drops detracting from a floating image. It's the water drops that tell you it's a reflections and brings the image together. Next time you're tempted to make an image like this, experiment by tossing small pebbles into the water to create different effects.

Check our my post from a couple of days ago "Light Playing with Water"

Good job, keep up the experimentation.

A very interesting image. What is "the RAW shorting method"?

You are right about the water drops Reuss. At first I was taking shots of clear, smooth water which created a look of not knowing if it was a reflection or not. Then a droplet hit the water and made the water ripples. Then the thought came to mind that the ripples would make it known it was a water reflection. And the one I posted was the best of them.
In closing I did check out your pictures of Light Playing with Water and was quite impressed. They are beautiful! BGS
