Saint Dunstan’s Cathedral, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada
In 2011, my church choir made a cruise from Montreal, Quebec to Boston, Massachusetts. One of the ports visited was Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. We had ample time ashore to do some sight-seeing and, being a “church person” I gravitated to this lovely church. It is named for St. Dunstan the Anglo Saxon saint from Glastonbury. The present stone structure was built in 1916, after a fire destroyed the original cathedral in 1913. Its two spires are 200 feet high.
