This is a small grasshopper that I came across on my walkabout a few days ago that I brought back with me and staged for a focus stacking session. I found its primitive eyes to be quite interesting as well as how they are arranged on its head. It now resides as a preserved specimen among the others.

Thanks, Tinusbum. The ocelli turned yellow when it was stored in the alcohol which gave it a strange look.
