Went shopping today and parked next to this VW classic that was in superb shape, inside and out. Since the owner wasn’t nearby, decided not to take photos of the interior but is was as pretty as the outside, grey tweed. Taken with my iPhone and posted for all you old classic car lovers, enjoy.

Well, I'm old, and I like to think of myself as a classic car lover, but I fail to find any charm in an under-powered shoe box. Rather good photographs, though.

A terrific all purpose vehicle. Of course , those from Texas might not agree due to the long distances needed to be traveled there? The VW bus was special and many have fond memories attached to them.

It’s a rocket compared to the ‘54 Morris Minor convertible (right-hand drive) I drove in graduate school but lots of different cars have their charms. The VW engines of that era were not very reliable but you could replace one in about an hour.

I learned how to drive in one of those!
It has the shortest clutch throw of virtually any vehicle that I know. Pure fun though.
