A visit to Moraine View State Park

After seeing so many of Joer's pictures from this place, I determined to visit the next time I was in the vicinity. It would be a lovely place to camp, if one lived in the neighborhood. A "moraine" is the debris field left at the end of of a glacier. These are some of its scenes and residents. As always, your comments are most welcome.

Thanks, Cindy. It is! There are several trails and two of them are short enough to completed easily.

Nice set. I’m curious about the above statement though. I would think that if one lives in the neighborhood there wouldn’t be a need to camp. How would it be to camp if one doesn’t live in the neighborhood?

Also good. But I wouldn't drive 2000 miles just to camp there. And people do go camping even close to home just because they like to camp. Or at least I do. Thanks for the visit!
