Looks looks like a wonderful grandson.
Great keepsake. Wonderful memories.
I took my grandson on his first fishing trip. Ain't it great? Nice post.
Looks like a good place to start, but he better watch, you can suffer from GAS in fishing as in photography. over the years I had a outfit for most any kind of fish.
Cute. I know he was excited.

One of the most enjoyable things for a grandparent to do is to teach a grandson or grandaughter

Yep! Cute and a great memory for your Grandson - fishin' with Granpa!!
Now for a composition question.... Why was this image taken horizontally? ... Vertical, seems to me (my opinion) would have rendered a much better picture. So much wasted space on the sides. Even vertical would show that this image was taken by water.
~ I DO like the use of wide angle lens and the fish being held out a bit to make it look bigger!! Grandpa knows his stuff!! Nice move that!!
Thanks everyone for your comments. Jacob just finished high school this spring and is looking forward to starting collage, if and when it starts. I may be a little prejudice, but I think he and his two siblings are as fine as they come. I guess grandpas are like that.
