One day while hosing my deck I noticed that I had sprayed a wasp nest with a wasp on it that was under the top rail. At first I wasn't going to bother getting the camera because I already had very close up pictures of these wasps but then I, for some reason, decided to get a picture so I went inside to get.the camera. This wasp walked around the nest a couple times and I didn't know why until it walked to the bottom of the nest to deposit a drop of water onto the ground. It did this a few times scooping up the water into its' mouth. Also the second picture is a close up of one of these insects.
WOW!! Once in a lifetime! Keep that camera rig nearby always! You've obviously used it before to hone your skills to this level. Here's one payoff!

I've got three cameras: I keep a macro lens with ring light on one, my telephoto lens on one and with the third one I will change lenses as needed mostly for landscapes.
Great catch! When in doubt, grab a camera!
Photo 1 is a classic. You should be really pleased with this image!
Really impressive, interesting creature, great shots
Excellent captures, especially the first.
