Really nice pictures. Very well done. From my travels, I've learned that apparently hand rails are a US thing. Most other countries don't have them.

For me, No.5 (up the stairs) is THE shot! Colors, composition and lighting draw my attention immediately. Went back and looked at it a second time. First rate image.

Thank you sb - seems to be that this photo got the attention of many - makes me glad because I was a bit hesitant about including it.

I love the simplicity in all of the way they live and occupy space. And they take advantage of the sunlight in a useful manner and their implements are basic and limited in quantity. The decorations are modest and not over-stated and it gives one a sense of less tension or expediency. The spaces are complete when occupied by the inhabitants...an almost Doll House quality. Very attractive & interesting Joe.

Thank you again for your efforts.

Thank you very much Kathy for your kind words. I haven't particularly noticed that hand rails are a US thing, but you could be right as safety (and the absence of cause for liability) is rated high here - but I do remember climbing up the very steep and very narrow steps of one of the stairs leading to a temple in Angkor Wat/Cambodia balancing a long tripod with movie camera in one hand and another camera in the other - with no railing in sight - that was in 1968, I was much younger but sure did not feel comfortable.
