I ran across this house this past weekend on my photo journey. I decided this would be the best shot to try out my new lightning and rain brushes. The background I used also had some small lightning effects in it that helped it appear more realistic. I need Murphy the Ghost Dog to appear.

I like this a lot, Keni. The house has so much character, and the tree adds interest too. I think you employed your brushes to great effect!

Very good Keni, I like the way you did not put too much lighting in, the rain looks good...

As you know he shuns the spotlight. He agreed for two reasons, first he likes you and second he loves to play in the rain.

Like your image Keni. Good angle on the lightning to fill the sky. Bev

Thank you Linda. I made my daughter pull forward and back up several times so I could get the right angle on it. I actually shot it from the passenger side through the driver's window, rolled down of course. It was too hot to get out and walk.

So glad you introduced me to the brushes. I am always on the lookout now for new ones. Still need to work on making my own though.

Thank you Val. Both the lightning brush and the rain brush I got from a Serge Romilli tutorial. I like that they look realistic and not over the top.
