May 21 - Spotted a red-shouldered hawk perched near what looked like an abandoned nest. Later visits showed two chicks, and I was able to photograph their progress most days until they fledged and left the nest.
I was able to set up about 100 feet from the nest, shot everything with my Sony A6600 and a Sigma 150-600 mm lens, tripod mounted.
I hope you enjoy the story!
