Luminar 4 has been seriously updated adding a hefty speed improvement, much better handling of RAW files, improvements to the DAM with a new search function, 500PX sharing, new cropping tools, enhanced “sky” management & application, bug fixes for both Mac & Windows, & much faster response, plus, plus, plus...This new version is now available in Canada, Austria, & Australia. With yet another no-cost upgrade, Luminar continues to push its way to becoming the “must-have!”

So basically it is beta 2 coming out, all previous 4 versions were less than stellar...

One of the things I enjoy about this forum is the constant push-back...even a "good thing" can be quickly down-graded to a "not-so-good" thing. I'm sure I am not alone in chuckling at the curmudgeon-like entertainment...

Downloaded new version this morning to 4.3 (I am in Australia). Good news is that after an iMac restart it appears to work fine although I have yet to play with all the new features. HOWEVER - downloaded the upgrade onto my trusty old 2010 MacBookPro (with the requisite spec which ran the previous version just fine) and it CRASHES every time. I really like this application and I'm sure Skylum with respond to me with a fix but I do wish they'd do more testing before releasing a new version.

Where did you get that information? - I have Version 4.20 and have checked for updates and there is no 4.30 as yet - has there been n update for USA only?
