Wow they are three large bears! Very good and exciting set Jederick.
Many thanks, Sylvias...yes, nasty, truculent brutes they are!!

Very nice, jederick. It wouldn't be a Yellowstone trip without a grizzly sighting!
Thank you, Chief...I consider a trip to YNP a success if I can get a decent grizzly photo!!
Excellent set of images jederick

Great shots! I’ll have to do some reading up on grizzlies. If she has 3 year old cubs with her I guess that means she doesn’t have babies every year.
Great set Jim! Just found out we have a bear wandering around our suburban neighborhood, but no cubs with this one.
These shots were probably at least 100 yards and heavily cropped...actually wish they would have been little closer for photo[/quote]
Nice shots, thanks for sharing. What was the focal length of the lens you used?

Usually every other year however if not bred, the second year the cubs may stick around for a third year. Thanks for stopping by Marg!!

You're welcome, thanks for stopping by. Camera was a Panasonic DC-G9 with a Pansonic/Leica 100-400 lens.

Thank you Jack...they are always fun to see which isn't very often!!
Wow, I never came that close, even with the crop, great images Jederick.
Nice and very interesting. My brother and I took a fishing trip to Canada one year and he told me he brought one extra pair of undershorts in case he saw a bear.
Very nice captures, especially #1.
