The mountain goats were at the needle's eye tunnel and traffic had to pull over and stop until they made it through.

My wife and I were there last year and enjoyed the area. You got more photos of the animals than I did. Not sure why we didn't see more. I did get many nice shots of the landscape and the several attractions in the area, including Rushmore, Crazy Horse Mountain and the park. We also took a side trip into Wyoming to the Devil's Tower for a few more photos. So many places to see out there. The Badlands is another outstanding vista.

We visited the badlands, black hills, Mount Rushmore and the corn palace in Mitchell.

Awesome shots. Did you feed the donkeys popcorn in #4 ??? The little guy looks like he has too much head for his body.

My Brother in Law was Driving and I was riding shotgun with the Wives in the back seat...I told my Brother in Law don't stop those Donkeys can be a Pest....So he stops and rolls down my Window a Donkey stuck his head inside and eats half my Bag of Popcorn...My Brother in Law dying Laughing pulled away with that Donkey with the most Insulted Look on its face....Yes He is still Alive and still my Brother in Law ! Great Photos !

Very nice images and variety. The male Bison is certainly one to keep some distance from.

Thank you David. It would be nice to spend a night or two in the park which I didn't. I hiked one trail there that for my old heart was a real workout
