First picture was taken from inside my truck, and cropped to remove the window frame. (D7200 with Tamron 18-400) Last 2 pictures were taken at a "bear jam" with a D7200 and Sigma 150-600. Tried to download the RAW files, but was denied access.

Fun photos! Looks like blur from hand-holding with slow shutter speed on #2 and #3. And/or your vehicle was moving? You probably had little to no time to prepare or adjust settings, but I know some have success with bean bag-type camera support on vehicle window frames. If I think I might encounter wildlife in my travels, I'll set my shutter speed higher ahead of time, in anticipation of a photo op. Try shutter priority instead of aperture priority for moving subjects, maybe 1/250 sec if you're steady and 1/500 if you're not.

Any file can be uploaded to UHH (maybe not exe files), but size limit is 20 mb. You shouldn't post raw as many won't have the software to open and view. You should post to Photo Gallery, however, not main discussion 😊

(for those who see this topic after Admin moves it and are confused my comment, yes Admin moved it from main discussion forum to gallery 🙄)

Elmo, Great first image. What is a bear Jam and where is it held? Looks like a fun thing to do

A "bear jam" or "buffalo jam" is when traffic is stopped by the opportunity to view and/or photograph the animals along the roadway.

Thanks for the input. The first photo was taken from the driver's seat through the passenger window. The others were taken "free hand" with both the bear and myself moving. Caught up in the moment, and didn't think to quickly change the settings on the camera. RATS!
