Yesterday was a bust but today was great. Sony a7iii, Sony 150-600mm G, AWB, F6.3, Manual focus, 4 sec and the 2.5 sec. Time was 4:10 AM or about 1:30 before sunrise. It is located slightly lower in the sky than Venus (brightest object in the East) and halfway between Venus and true North. As you can see, it is quite visable by the naked eye.
4 sec , about 40% crop
2.5 sec, minimal PP, 200mm
Spectacular, very well done!!!!!
Your effort paid off .. thnx for posting ... that Sony a7III and lens combo seemed to work well ..

Thanks, I use to have a Sony a7S for low light-star shots. I rented the a7iii and discovered that it was almost as good in low light-stars but a lot more versital. I traded off my a7s for the a7iii.
I forgot to add... ISO for those shots was 2500

very nice. It's been to cloudy here to see this
You are lucky to have clear morning skies there. Socked in the fog today, and rain yesterday am. Evening, haven't seen it yet, but we usually also have low evening clouds in this part of the country also. Am looking for it daily now in Tn.!
Excellent photos. Thanks for sharing.
You got a very good shot of it.👌
That first photograph is incredible!
Very well done! Best I've seen!
