CHICAGO – A Chicago man has been charged with first-degree murder after a 23-month-old boy was beat to death on Tuesday.

Police responded to the 4200 block of South Calumet Avenue at around 12 p.m. on Tuesday on the report of an injured child.

Michael Robinson, 23, allegedly punched the toddler multiple times in the face. The boy, later identified as Antwun Gayden, was t***sported to Comer Children’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead

Robinson was taken into custody after he stayed at the scene, police said. He is a relative of the boy, but his specific relation is unknown at this time.

Robinson has been charged with first-degree murder and has an appearance in bond court on Friday.

I have the perfect plan for this dude. Take him out in the Arizona desert, somewhere way off the beaten path. Strip him, and slam him front first into a stout Saguaro cactus. Then, tie him tightly there with some very stout rope. Wish him a good day and let him know he now has some time to think about how he ended up in this situation.

There are 3 pluses to this. One, he'll provide some nourishment for the local fauna. Two, he'll provide some nutrients to the soil for the flora. Three, he'll never repeat that offense again. That's a win all the way round.

I'm not surprised it was in Chicago.

In old, old days when "an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" justice prevailed, the Chicago man would be tied up and the family of the child would beat the evil man to death.
