Kelly, when making comments about someone else's post, use "Quote Reply" instead of "Reply." That way, everyone will know to whom you are addressing your comments.

And, a belated welcome to UHH and the "challenge" section. Looking forward to seeing some of your work.

Another summertime free weekend is here. Learn something new, share it here. Take something new that you’re looking for a place to display, share it here. We all would love to see how you look at things through your lens, and how you might work it in post processing.
In this time of unusual events that have us staying safe in ways we would never have anticipated as required in our country, I decided to self-reflect a little. Turns out that 60 year old look I was looking for….

End result looks the best lhammer

Still working on pix from our mini trip. Here are a couple to keep you cool - hot here and so humid. Hope to get to some pix from a "sculpture" haven in the woods before the weekend ends. Actually, it looked more like auction finds and rusty car parts cleverly, or not, arranged in the middle of the woods!

P1 Liking both of these Pat

some more from the weekend visit with the kids...
We left Sunday afternoon, and went by our friends Dan and Robin..
Dan has this gold plated green thumb... this year his strawberries
are on their 3rd harvest, these a preview of the last one
His mom and Robin made up some refrigerator jam from some, and they
sent us home with some... working on it... but it's big jar...

the geraniums from daughter in law, Jess.. in the golden hour..
these are straight off the camera, uncut unedited.. they are beauties...
some more from the weekend visit with the kids... ... (show quote)
