On1 RAW or Topaz Labs, look them up. Topaz give you free upgrades for life, never spend another penny after your initial purchase, I have owned it for ten years and never had to pay a further penny for the latest updates.

You need to be more specific with your question. How about the software that came with your camera.

Your computer has one of the easiest built in.

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207596

After that, for easy, it might be Adobe Photoshop Elements with the built in Quick mode, Guided mode and endless tutorials.

Although no longer maintained by Google, Picasa is quite simple.

I hate to contradict, however effective August 2020 (next month) Topaz will start charging for some updates.
"Starting in August 2020, we will charge for product upgrades to DeNoise AI, Sharpen AI, Gigapixel AI, and Mask AI."
I'm sorry admin the letter is too long (space constraints) for block and copy.
A long letter may be found below explaining their new policy.

Just a warning - Topaz no longer gives the free updates. I believe they will give updates up to 6 months from purchase date. After that they will charge for them. That just started earlier this year.

Topaz will be starting to charge for upgrades on their AI plugins after this year according to a notice sent by them approx 6 months ago.
I am not complaining about the change, I understand their position, but they have fantastic AI plugins that I find extremely helpful. It will be worthwhile for me to buy the yearly upgrade policy of 99.00 a year.

Sorry, but as of August 1, upgrades are no longer free. They will be charging a $99 annual fee for upgrades to all products you own based upon the info received in an email a couple of months ago.

Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop CC (Subscription is $9.99/month) — I use and LOVE these.

Serif Affinity Photo with Apple Photos and Raw Power plug-in for Photos

Affinity is powerful for $50. Raw Power ($40) is written by the former Aperture programmer/developer. It adds raw file processing capabilities to Photos. Photos is part of MacOS.

Yep, I rely on Lightroom Classic and Photoshop CC for my editing, but if you're just getting started in image editing, Photoshop Elements might be a better choice. The learning curve for Photoshop Elements is a little easier than the full-featured program.

On1 Photo Raw is my favorite after trying PS, PSE, LR. Used On1 for several years now and am very happy. Was a LR happy camper, but always found PS way too steep learning curve (and relearning after brief layoffs). On1 is not subscription, but you will find you will likely want to update every few years as features get added - or not if you are happy with the version you have. Lots of “how-to” and support group help available.

For the price, the $90 combo I mentioned (Affinity Photo, plus Apple Photos, plus the Raw Power plug-in) is a great PS Elements alternative (unless, of course, you’re a Windows user).
