Does anybody use these? Can you describe use case and how you have implemented?

Thx in advance for any input!

They can be programmed just like other buttons for any function. I personally don't need another button and rarely use it.

I have programmed a few of mine, and find it very useful for quick changes. Examples: for bracketing on/off, for focus highlighting on/off, for centering the autofocus indicator. May do more later. A good feature to have.

Another question...they need to be programmed individually for each body, right? e.g. mii and miii?

I have mine set for double magnification. You set the buttons thru the menu system on the camera, on the em1 mark 2 & 3's in the gear menu section B1 is where you assign button functions. Once set this function will work for all the M.Zuiko pro lenses.

Not sure what you want. If you want info on the lenses I can tell you they are excellent. The 300m f4 is amazing. I am 90 years old and I can tell you in all my experience it is the sharpest lens that I have owned. I have compared to my Canon and the Olympus wins hands down. It works very well with the 1.4 X tele adapter. No noticeable loss in sharpness. Also the price is good.
I have many of the Pro lenses and love them.

I preprogram them in anticipation of the shooting environment I am going to encounter. For example I went to Africa and set up a lens to shoot shutter priority with a minimum of 2000 shutter speed, wide open, auto ISO in case I came across some animal pursuit of some sort. It is a valuable tool in your Bat Belt.

It is a great tool on the camera. The Mark III is better than the markII. Only problem is that once you use a myset say for Aperture Priority it remains that if you reprogram it. You must keep that in mind.
