At $900 apiece this 256gb card will have limited interest at this time. If you buy the 128gb card it costs $180.
A 32gb card is around $36.
Putting all your pictures/videos on a single huge card will be a disaster if something goes wrong with it, especially after a long vacation.

Thanks for the post, Steve - looks like a lot of negative feedback (mostly price and practicality), but it gives choices, and that's what this forum is all about!

Cannot wait to see the end of all this tiny storage. I have spent the whole day juggling terabytes of files to be able to handle a bunch of HD video work over the next 10 days. After clearing off a 4 terabyte drive, I have been backing up to it for HOURS.

The future is carbon storage, when instead of tiny terabytes, we'll deal with petabytes, at the minimum.

I am sure there are people who will buy this thing, but my question is, "What for?!" Storage perhaps? That is very small and easy to lose.

From what I've read here a camera card is not a good storage device.
