Wadi Bani Khalid is one of the best-known wadis in Oman. Its stream maintains a constant flow of water throughout the year. Large pools of water and boulders are scattered along the course of the wadi and are fringed with vibrant green date palms and long-stemmed grasses. The main pool is easily reachable and there are further pools upriver into the gorge.
I hope you enjoy this beautiful oasis and rocks combination and look forward to hear your comments or questions.
I recommend viewing the downloads.

The pool & gorge are stunning and the little Burrow is adorable. The Oasis looks so Biblical and must be quite popular to the visiting quests from afar.
Nice work Joe.
Very interesting series. Not many visit Oman to see this beauty, so thanks for posting.
I enjoyed the donkey 😊😊👍🤗

Hi Blair, thank you for looking in again and your kind comment. Haven't thought about it but yes, it does have a biblical appearance. It is the most popular wadi for visitors in Oman, both for the Omani and foreign visitors, as it is within an easy day-trip from Muscat. The nice thing with Oman is that it is not overcrowded with visitors, particularly once you get out of the Muscat area. Again, thanks for looking and your comment!
