I have A Nikon D7000 DX camera. I am interested in upgrading to a new camera. I shoot mostly landscapes and some macro. I also dabble in wildlife photography and portrait photography. I shoot for pleasure and do not care about making money. What would be some suggestions for my next camera. I want to stay with Nikon. Thanks.

Get a D500. They are great!
A D500 or D7200, either one.
If you stay with DX I would say D500 or D7200. Some folks like the D7500. If you move to FX I would suggest a D750 or D850 if the budget allows. Or you could consider mirrorless, (Z7 or Z6). So much to consider!
Do you want a DX or FX sensor Nikon? I had a D7000. I sold it not long ago and purchased a D7500. The D7500 has a better autofocus system and improved sensor. It only has a single memory card slot but that's not a big deal. I already had two D500's and a D750 but I wanted another mid-level camera. Nikon has finally figured out the best place for the ISO button.
Depends on how much you want to spend. From Nikon, there's two logical options, as mentioned above: the D7500 or the D500. You pay more for all the professional sports / wildlife features of the D500 that don't seem to be part of your camera needs.
Having been on that progression path myself, i would suggest skipping over the D7500 and just getting the D500. It is so satisfying to use such a great piece of equipment.
BUT, since you do not seem so heavily invested yet in DSLR gear, I would also take a look at the Z50 or even the Z6. IMHO, electro-mechanical boxes with flapping mirrors have just about gone as far as they can go, and mirrorless will be the way of the future. Note: I have not made this jump yet, but it seems inevitable.
I upgraded from 7000 to 810 and I love to use this body. In this Body is power( Focus Speed and Accurately are incredible) My D tokina lens 100 mm 2.8 on the 810 is a plessing with the 7000 couldn’t find focus, moved slow......I newer thought about 36mb would be a big change but when I crop in on my computer or phone what a different. After shooting the 810 I didn’t look any other cameras any more..... I used for year canon rebel 300d with a terrible focus system, 7000 was okay with certain lenses.

Are you not getting good images from your D7000? If your not getting good images, then it is time to get another camera.
If you dabble in wildlife photography and portrait photography then why not get lenses instead of a new camera body.
I am suggesting the Nikon 70-300 lens. You can do both portrait photography and wildlife photography with this lens and it will only cost you about $600.00. This is a full frame lens, so you will only be using the center part of the lens which is the sharpest part. BONUS, if you ever go to a FF body, you will have a good lens for it.
Lens upgrades are more important than camera upgrades. If you are already getting good images with your D7000 and upgrade to say a D500 will not deliver SHARPER images.
Only a lens can do that.
Good luck and keep on shooting until the end.

Like it has already been mentioned you offer no information regarding the type of camera you want. I am going to assume you want another DX camera that will support the lenses that you now have. You will get plenty of recommendations and that will make your final decision of buying a new camera somewhat difficult. There are excellent new and old cameras available.
I have a D7000 that is serving me well. I take it to the Everglades often to photograph wildlife and I make no claims of been a good wildlife photographer but the D7000 has been good enough for my needs. My philosophy has always been that if the camera has the features I need updating is not necessary. Many of us feel the GAS and simply go ahead and buy something new which usually has improved technologies compared to old models. I am happy with the D7000 so it will stay with me for as long as it keeps on giving me good service.
Good luck with your new camera.

Regarding your suggestions about perhaps just moving on to a mirrorless camera, I sold most of my DX and FX equipment when I purchased the 4/3 Panasonic G9 and a set of PL lenses. I really love the smaller size & weight and the ability to see what you will get through the electronic viewfinder with the G9. However, I did keep one D750 and a few good FX lenses and then got a D500, Tamron 100-400 and now a Nikon 500 PF lens for wildlife. There is something I really like about using the D750, D500 & D7100 that I don’t get from the G9, I think it is the extra weight, the sound of the mirror & shutter operation and all the memories of past Pentax & Nikon film cameras that the mirrored cameras bring to mind. Maybe I’m just not ready to move completely on.

From what you say and you don’t need a professional camera take a look a
At the D610 Nikon ff camera but of course you’ll need FD lenses for that one, at least look at it.

I agree, the D500 is great and may never have to upgrade again.
D7500 for DX. (The D500 doesn't have a built-in flash.) D750 for FX. (The D850 doesn't have a built-in flash.)
