Canon Print Studio Pro and Pattern Print

Good evening Hoggers and for those in the USA, Happy 4th!
Been poking around Print Studio Pro and noticed under the Color Settings tab there is an option called Pattern Print. I did a little reading about what it does and seems quite interesting.
Who uses it, when do you use it and thoughts about using it. Once I hear back (if I hear back), I may have some follow up questions.
For what it's worth, I use Canon inks and paper (Pro Luster mainly) and work with a ViewSonic monitor.

I use it fairly often. On one sheet of photo paper you can get numerous large thumbnail versions of your picture - all with different settings. Choose the one that you like, input those settings (ie +25 Y -10M +15C or whatever) and your finished print should match the thumbnail.

I ask of anyone do you use it on an Apple iMac computer, for me it doesn't seem to work, but it does work on my Windows computer.

Do you do this for each photo you want to print? What size paper do you use? 5x7, 81/2x11, etc.?
