No it has no effect on shutter shock. IS doesn’t handle that. What I said is that advanced IS (and also absence of an AA filter) can aid in detecting evidence of shutter shock when inspecting images. GX85s are Dual IS-2 compatible, plus there’s no AA filter.
Obviously, images softened by camera movement, plus an AA filter, will display any shutter shock effects less distinctly. Using a GX85, those first two detractors should be “out of the picture”.
