Tried a Sony A7 iii - definitely not for me

With all the glowing press about the A7iii and A7Riii I thought I would give one a try. Ordered one in with a 24-70 f/2.8 from the good folks at Lenrentals.com.
Great technology, great image quality -- way too small for my hands.
I've been shooting an Oly OM-D E-M1 which I love and was considering a mk II. With all the 'uncertainty' around Olympus' future I thought I should at least look at alternatives.
I'll probably look at a GH5. Love Nikon handling qualities but their financials are almost as bad as Olympus' were (https://www.nikon.com/about/ir/finance/financial_statements/index.htm).
What else should I be looking at?
I know at my age, the smart money move is probably to pick up a couple of Oly mk II bodies and whatever lenses I want and be satisfied shooting photos with cameras I enjoy using.

Panasonic G9 is the ticket. Can use your current lenses. Sizable body, great grip, super EVF.

How long do you expect to live? If you like the Oly, go for it now. By the time its an unserviceable relic you will probably be long gone. If not, there will probably be something else around to tickle your fancy.

Olympus cameras will not stop working just because the photography division has been sold. Same with Nikon. There is no need to switch systems. If you are happy with the system you are using, stay with it.

I have a G9 and love it. I love my Z7 even more, but if you already have M4/3 lenses the G9 makes more sense. Plus the cost difference could buy some good glass.

The first one was from 40 years ago. The second was a Halloween costume about 10 years ago. During COVID-19 I’m looking more like the first one.

I thought my hands and fingers were going to be too big for my Sony RX100M7, but after playing with it for awhile, I realized I was wrong. I love that little camera.

A battery grip would solve the big hands problem and extend shooting time .

I’m sticking with my Olympus system and I’m on the fence should I pick up a second omdem1markiii just to keep it put away “just in case”
