Yes. If you use the "Delete from Disk" option it'll get rid of them from your PC rather than just the catalog.

If they'd been removed from their source rather than just copied you'd have noticed by now (as in "Aaargh - where have all my buttons gone?!?). They'll use up space and be useless clutter if you leave them.
