This display seems to corroborate what many have said all along. I have considered of having a T-shirt made up which states; 'Nothing you can say will convince me that you are concerned about my health if you are not wearing a mask'

Why are most TV reporters not wearing masks then ? Seems they are seen daily not wearing them yet they extoll the wearing of them...

So ALL during ALL flu seasons ALL better wear masks every year and isolate in their basements so as to not spread the flu ever again. You do know you will be masked about 6 months out of the year and isolated the same amount of time every year?

It depends on (1) the severity of the flu and (2) whether there is a vaccine (and whether you got the vaccine).

The size of the virus makes masks almost as effective as using a chain link fence to stop mosquitoes.

With all the facts available to you, how can you be so ignorant on this issue?

True, but the virus is more likely suspended in droplets from the infected person’s breath. Those are larger and have a better chance of being caught in the mask material.
Masks also divert the path of what comes from the wearer from direct to diffused.

This topic doesn’t belong in the main photography section anyway!

Mosquito riding a softball.

Virus may be small, but they ride water droplets.

Masks are used to provide equivalent to ‘social distancing’ when you will actually close to a person.

TV reporters arrange their shots away from people, so they take mask off then.

None of the masks will stop the virus. They stop the liquid droplets carrying the virus.
