A couple photos taken this winter while in Anchorage for the Fur Rondy winter festival. My first time trying to shoot in low single digit temperatures.

It looks like you will handle the next zero temps very well. Great shots, especially on the download. This it is my kind of Alaska - the last time up there was courtesy of that people-hauler Princess Cruise Lines. No further comment is necessary.
If you have more, post them.
Thanks
...that last shot looks like they came to the party...what car were they driving...?
Raz, thanks. I love Alaska, Planing another trip next year providing once the covid pandemic has subsided.

They hoofed it. 🙂 that was about 3 houses away from where we we staying. My wife and I were having a latte at coffee shop in downtown Anchorage. I looked the window which faced a small vacant lot. To my surprise there was a large moose feeding on something. Only in Alaska!

I like the dogs photo.
Thank you, me too. They have the ceremonial start to the Iditarod in Anchorage. It was a lot of fun shooting the different sled dog teams. But man, it didn’t take long to loose all dexterity in your fingers due to the cold.
Nice photos--excellent sunrise/sunset.

Great images!!! Ron
Been there done that (single digit and below) first with film, no big problems, then with digital no problems either.
I did not know the dogs wear run-downs. Interesting. So how did your camera take the low temps? Did your batteries fail faster as warned?

My D850 performed flawlessly In the cold. I didn’t notice an unusually lower battery life, bud did keep a spare in my pocket next to a hand warmer. at times my hands got so cold that I was losing the dexterity in my fingertips made manipulating the BBF and controls a little more challenging.
