Shipping is delayed all around, not just B&H. But it's worse if you use their free economy shipping (purchases under $45, I think). I live 200 miles north of NYC (same state) and it takes a week for anything with free economy shipping to get here.

I ordered a Voigtländer Nokton 50mm f/1.5 from B&H recently and it was delivered a day earlier than the estimated delivery date.
What was the estimated delivery date they gave you when you placed the order?
You ordered it on Thursday and were charged for it on Friday and are complaining on Sunday?
B&H states on it's web site that orders ready to ship on weekends will go out on Monday.
You sound like a spoiled chronic complainer to me.

Ordered on Friday, they are closed on Saturday and Sunday, so next shipping pickup can happen until Monday. What's wrong with that? Did they tell you when you placed the order it would be on a Truck the day you ordered it?

TY. Good to know. Typically they’ve been able to ship a mid-day Thursday order prior to their normal weekend closed period. Their major competitor seems unaffected.

My wife ordered a Sony camera last Tuesday night, west coast time. So really it was a Wednesday order. Fedex shows the order was picked up last Friday and estimating delivery on Tuesday. We can't sign for it on Tuesday so we've rescheduled delivery for next Wednesday.

The longer chat queue could be related to their strict weekly holiday rules, the covid complications for workers or both.

In our case, Amazon would have been quicker. But, we are "loyalists".

I will chastise you because you have NO PATIENCE. Things will take longer due to Covid-19, as it states on the B&H website. I've been ordering from them regularly during this unprecedented pandemic and have received all my orders as stated, perhaps a day later or sooner. You could always pickup at 34th street if you're in that big of a rush. Jesus man, chill out!

No guarantee these days with Amazon Prime on when the item gets shipped, even when the item is a Prime item. Some things get to my house the next day, some take a week. Blame it on the virus, which disrupted many businesses.
