There's no way I would ever call you a jerk - thank you for your input. I see what you're saying about eliminating the "for sale" sign to bring more attention to the mailboxes (I did some major cropping to the original image for that same reason) but the sign is part of what the picture is saying. That house is located at the top of our road and was basically an uncared for dump even when it was lived in. It's been on the market for almost a year but I don't expect it to ever be sold or lived in again.

OK. We live in a chaotic present so I must ask, what does the sticker mean?

Haven't the foggiest notion - people just like to put stickers (or traffic cones!) on statues over there. One of these days I'll get ambitious and remove it in Photoshop.

I don't know how big - moderate, I'd say, and on about a half acre lot. Price is $49,000 which is more than I'd pay for the place - it's really a dump!

Thank you Sue for not taking offense. Good luck to anyone who may wish to buy it.

Excellent capture.. It all goes well together--bubbles, kids running and a woman hurrying. --Richard

Well, to quote the movie, "Young Frankenstein" - "all it needs is a coat of paint and a few throw pillows!"

Jimber, what do you mean by focus stacking photos? --Richard

Hit "Reply Quote" when asking specific questions so we can see the post your looking at.

Focus stacking is when your depth of field is too shallow to get the entire subject in focus. To fix this you take a series of photos focusing on the foreground first and working your way back and then stacking and blending them in post to get a photograph that is completely in focus. You can do this manually or use a program to do it for you.
