Got this from a friend in Poland.
"Once a professor on the blackboard wrote the number 1 and, looking at the students, explained.
"This is your humanity - the most important value in life."
then he added 0 to number 1 and said: "And these are your achievements, which combined with humanity increased your value 10 times."
One more 0 - experience, which is already 100.
and so he added successively, love, responsibility.
Each added 0 ennobles man said the professor.
Suddenly he erased the number 1, which stood at the beginning.
There were nothing significant zeros on the board.
the professor said: "If you don't act like people, wh**ever you do, you will remain zero ...""

With respect Jerry SOME people are horrible and then there are those who are even worse. But consider that just in America there are now over 330 Million people. Now IF we were all horrible there would be mass slaughter of each other, robberies, rapes and so on. But in the scheme of things those things are not happening except for on a small scale across the country. While let's say 5% of people in the world are evil and do bad things we all tend to forget the 95% that is friendly, gets along with fellow man, works hard and basically represents the very best of all of us. Now carry those numbers across the globe and we tend to look pretty damn good.
Perhaps we should concentrate on the good in people and not the bad.

The Right, by and large except for the very small fringe doesn't do those things. We don't r**t, l**t or burn down cities. We leave that to the b****s and the Left who support those types of anti American behavior.
