Nicely capture their action! I prefer most no. 1 picture. The golden light makes the photo more artistic and storytelling. I think we should not just look for action always. The surfing experience isn’t just about that killer barrel ride or the huge aerial maneuver. The in-between moments can tell the surfing lifestyle even better so don’t just be focused on the action.

Thanks so much tjw47. You are right.......not a iPhone! I shot these with my favorite lens.......with a focal length of 100-400. It also helps being on a pier so I could get very close to the surfers!
